With the growth of resorts such as Sonoran Sea, Sonoran Spa, Bella Sirena, Princesa De Penasco, Las Palomas, Sonoran Sun, Las Gaviotas and Marina Pinacate the restaurants are springing up everywhere. Biggest Surprise In Town This is most definitely the sleeper restaurant in town. The food is great. If you are already staying at the Spa, you don't even have to leave the resort. It is open to all Rocky Point visitors. The only downside is that it is fairly small but the food is exquisite.

Great Food The menu had a good variety of food to choose from. The food was very good and well prepared. I will go back for sure. The only minor drawback is that it is a small place but sometimes that is a good thing.

Sonoran Grill Great place to eat at in a sportsbar-like atmosphere. Food was fantastic. Restaurant is a little small, but is well worth the wait.

Ay Caramba! No Visa? Being this was our first time to Rocky Point, we were a bit surprised to
find out they don't take Visa cards (we were saving our cash for shopping).
The food was excellent, and the people that worked there were very nice.
Despite cash only, we ate there twice, and will eat there again in the future.

Too Pricey The food at Sonoran Grill is fairly good, but the prices are that of a very nice restaurant. When it's busy at the resorts, the Grill is packed with people. It's a very small place with little room.
If you want to go to have a few drinks without having to go into town, it's fine. If you're going to eat, bring lots of money.

Sonoran Grill This was my least favorite spot we ate. The fish tacos were very bland. My husband and daughter, however, enoyed it. The Mexican sampler was evidently quite good. I'd have preferred to eat outside, but there are only a couple of tables out there and they weren't available. The waitress was not very friendly. Only open for lunch on the weekends. I wouldn't go there for dinner -- there are too many other good restaurants in town.

Delicious food! We had the shrimp tacos and steamed clams and both were excellent. Price was a bit high but the food was so good we decided it was worth it. We were surprised to see that this restaurant was empty most of the time. If you're staying at the Sonoran Spa, the Grill is definitely recommended.

YUM !! We ate at this restaurant ( more like a bar/grill ) the first night we arrived in Rocky Point. We were staying next door at the Sonoran Sea so its just a short walk. I had the carne asada tacos that were the best I've ever eaten. I'm very picky about my Mexican cuisine and this place was great. The wait staff were very friendly and always refilling our drinks. They do allow smokers at the bar, but it didn't bother us non smokers at all. Worth the drive out to Sandy Beach area, or if your staying at one of the Sonoran condos check it out. It will be our first place to eat at when we go again!!

Good Food, Good Location, Needs more selection The Sonoran Grill has good food and a great location (adjacent to the Sonoran Sea Resort). The hotel itself has no restaurant so I was just happy to find something to eat. The shrimp was great and the nachos were excellent. The beer selection, however, is minimal for a restaurant/bar in Mexico. The food menu has a decent selection but could probably use a little more added to it as well. Overall, I give it a B+.

Great menu! Great menu, great food, great margs, great and friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I am looking forward to visiting it again soon.

Service at restaurant We dined in the restaurant 3 times during our stay and 2 of the 3 times there was poor service. The waiter on the first time stopped coming to the table all together and I had to go and get him. At that point another waiter began helping us and the first waiter never again came back or made any eye contact with us again during our visits. On the 3rd visit to the restaurant it took 20 minutes to get the check, they couldnt find the waiter then they couldnt find the check in the system. The manager helped us with it in the end. The food was great. But the service on those two visits was not.

i AM THE OWNER OF THIS GRILL I would like to correct the last 2 reviews, the last one says that we don't accept cash, that is not true, we don't accept visa or mastercard. the one before said that his waiter gave poor service well we don;t have any waiters only waitresses and we do not have a computer system so not being able to find it in our "system" must mean that you did not eat at our restruant, it must have been the one at the Sonran Sun called Adobe or Catorce , not the Sonoran Spa,
